Three months in India on a buying & design trip has  been a fantastic experience for me, it gave me the opportunity to gain  invaluable knowledge of the Textile Industry there, which in my view is stunning in its diversity whilst keeping its heritage, hand worked product. I have loved being in a block print work room with International Designers who come to Jaipur to do their own Design Collections, to see them working blocks and color with Master Ji of the print room.

Whilst in Jaipur, experiencing the extreme heat of Rajasthan, I put together a small collection of loose easy wear Summer 2009 Fashion in Linens and fine muslin Cottons .Along with the gorgeous Collection of Pashma, Cashmere Winter 2010 Fashion and Cashmere blended with Silk and Linens Summer 2009  it will be shown at Life in Style Melbourne stand 115 in the Royal Exhibition Building Carlton. Dates are 30th July to 3rd August 2009.
