Taj Mahal Full Moon Glow Experience India
Exhilarating, lasting memories……We are off to visit Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab & Uttrakhan criss crossing over India’s religions – Hinduism, Sikhism & the Muslim faith, the sacred river Ganga & Yamuna, golden sands of Thar Desert, Taj full moon spectacular, shimmer & glistening rays of sunset & sunrises.
Taj Mahal ‘ the epitome of love ‘ has charisma & we have 2 visits to bath in the charismatic energy & imposing beauty. It is the immense love behind this outstanding monument that has given life to this masterpiece. Nothing short of an architectural marvel, no wonder it stands proud as being one of the ‘ Seven Wonders of the World ‘. Walk along the pathway beside the reflecting pool with fountains up to the mausoleum crafted in soft & pure marble, jewelled with semi precious stones, where in the serenity of paradise rests Mumtaz Mahal, the Reason, in peace with Shah Jahan, the Maker her husband. Dawn when the first rays of the sun hits the dome of this epic monument, it radiates like a heavenly abode, cloaked in bright golden. Wait…. at night, basking in the glory of a full moon glow , it shines like a perfectly carved diamond, appearing as if straight out of some magical tale, leaving us awestruck by its sense of grandeur. The story of Shah Jahan, his beloved wife Mumtaz & Taj Mahal!
We explore New Delhi, a city of stark contrasts & once my home for 4 years past. An internal air flight takes us to romantic Udaipur soaking in beautiful sunsets over massive Lake Pichola, travel to Jaipur the Pink City to experience Rajasthan’s royal Amber Fort & Hawa Mahal via the Aravalli Hills & Ranakpur Valley, rest & relaxation in the charming village of Samode, see the ancient now deserted city Fatepursekri. Visiting Agra & Agra Fort to learn the mystery of the beautiful Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz 1653. Another internal air flight takes us far into the northern state Punjub, food bowl of India & sense the awe of the Golden Temple Amritsar, train travel on the Shatabdi Express will take us on to Haridwar under the foothills of the Himalayas to view devotions & rituals on the Ganges, not just a sacred river, a goddess & the Life Source of India.
